HIM is nominated for “Business School of the Year 2025” at the PIEoneer Awards, recognized for its bold transformation, global partnerships, and innovative approaches.
HIM Business School is proud to be named a finalist for the 2025 'Business School of the Year' award at the prestigious PIEoneer Awards. This nomination recognises our bold transformation from a hospitality-focused programme into a business school with an innovative, forward-thinking curriculum. Our adaptive approach to education—reflected in our Be World Ready philosophy—prepares students to meet the fast-changing demands of today’s global business landscape.
The PIEoneer Awards, organized by The PIE (Professionals in International Education), are among the most prestigious accolades in the sector, recognizing innovation, achievement, and best practices in international education around the world.
This international nomination celebrates HIM's forward-thinking curriculum, launched in 2023, which is designed to empower the next generation of students and professionals seeking rapid growth, global perspectives, and meaningful real-world experiences. The school's Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) program stands out for its three-year structure, which integrates 18 months of hands-on industry experience, and places a strong emphasis on customer experience and interpersonal skills from the very first year.
'Be World Ready' represents more than just a slogan for HIM Business School; it embodies a commitment to secure swift employment for Bachelor graduates.
- Claire Jollain, HIM Business School Dean
In 2024, HIM transformed its academic direction to shape a new, customer-focused model of business education by building on its foundation in hospitality. The school applied the principles of hospitality—personalisation, service excellence, and attention to detail—to core business disciplines.
This evolution broadened the school’s relevance across industries where customer experience is increasingly seen as a key driver of success. Through strategic partnerships with leading companies such as Christian Dior, Edmond de Rothschild, and Michael Page, students engage in collaborative projects, site visits, and internships across diverse sectors, including premium retail, business advisory, and finance.
Being accepted as a full member into the EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development) community and leveraging the global EFMD Highered job platform, HIM also significantly broadened international placement opportunities for students.
The Readiness Index, at the core of HIM's innovative educational model, is a proprietary, data-driven tool that maps both hard and soft skills in real-time. This system ensures that course content evolves alongside global industry needs, equipping students with the exact skills required in areas such as finance, marketing, customer experience and human resources.
This integrated approach has already yielded impressive outcomes, proving the power of the 'Be World Ready' concept:
This nomination also pays tribute to the passionate faculty, dedicated students, and engaged global partners who bring the 'Be World Ready' vision to life every day. Together, we are shaping a new benchmark for what business education can achieve in a rapidly changing world.
